Admission Guide
Harton Grange Academy is a non-selective school and admission is open to all students who would benefit from the curriculum offered and who would not be detrimental to the learning of students already attending our school. Our school is a learning community bound together by the principals of respect, responsibility and honesty. As such, we would expect students and parents seeking admission, to have a clear commitment to these principles and those values and aspirations
We recognise that students will arrive at our school from a wide variety of educational and cultural backgrounds and every effort will be made to welcome them into our school. Students will be placed in the year group most appropriate for their educational background and their physical and emotional maturity.
Admissions will dependent on availability of vacancies in the appropriate year group. No student should be admitted until the appropriate paper work has been completed and the registration fee paid. It is the responsibility of the School Head Teacher to make the final decision on all cases of admission, in consultation with the appropriate Head of Admissions.
Children are proud to wear the Harton Grange uniform and it has many benefits such as giving a sense of belonging and making it easier for staff to identify children when on school trips. We have our own uniform shop. Order forms are available from the school office.
